Having difficulty preparing meals for a week or more? “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” may be the answer. This CLC Stephen Ministry program, in partnership with Wildwood Catering, will deliver meals daily, (3 meals on Friday for the weekend as well) cool in a microwave container between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The meals have been pre-paid but you can “pay it forward” by donating for someone else’s meal at $42.25 for the week’s meals or what ever you can afford. Higher donations are also appreciated.
The meal service can be ordered by 2:00 PM on the last working day of the week for the next week by calling the CLC office at (931) 484-7273. You can cancel a meal if a special circumstance will not allow you to be home to receive the meal by calling the CLC office by 3:00 PM the day before you wish to cancel.
Special diets can be accommodated such as diabetic, wheat intolerance, and some others. Please mention your special dietary needs when ordering your meals.
Other special benefits from the service is having the same person making the delivery most of the time. They can check on your safety and any changing needs.
The meal delivery service will be started on December 1 for all meals requested by Wednesday, Nov. 26 (Thursday and Friday the office is closed). Thereafter, meals requested by Friday at 2:00 PM, will be delivered on Monday through Friday of the following week.
