Stewardship Committee
Our Stewardship Program at Christ Lutheran strives to provide year-round emphasis on helping the congregation find opportunities to serve our Lord within the church as well as within our community. We hope to provide the elements which keep before the congregation the avenues of giving and serving as a response to God’s abundant gifts to us. We use a layered approach to give members support in choosing programs and ministries to which they may give their time and talents.
This approach includes using a Spiritual Gifts Inventory to aid our people in discerning the profile of their God-given gifts and abilities. We also provide a Serving Opportunities form to suggest where volunteer service is needed and how people with a given gift profile can plug-in to the congregation’s life and work. We sponsor an annual Ministry Fair as a means of giving members an opportunity to put their questions directly to the persons who are involved in the work and ministries of interest. We are also responsible for organizing and carrying out the annual campaign for operating fund pledges. From time to time we place before the membership certain additional needs for financial support in the community, the broader church, and beyond, so that our members can support ministries and programs of special interest to them.
